JR, I knew Jared was still to be drafted.

Last I heard, he was projected to be a defenseman and while not a first-round pick, still an effective NHL-level player.

HB, Matt Cullen would still like a word with Mr. Orr.

Jared plays right wing. He's not a bad player but in all the games I've seen him play, he was mostly invisible.

Huggy might have a completely different opinion but I've not been impressed.

I'm pretty sure if Cullen and Orr went toe-to-toe, it be an epic mismatch.

One that Cullen, unfortunately, probably wouldn't remember.

I know. I just still have a problem with that hit Orr delivered some time back.

Lots of Habs fans in Bahstin tonight.

Chara is in the lineup for the spikey B's [/as a friend of mine calls them]. Boston is honoring Glen Murray for playing in his 1,000th NHL game.

Wait 'til you see both Kovalev goals. Simply spectacular.

With Cam Ward in the form that led the Canes to the Cup in 2005, he leads Carolina to a huge 2-1 OT victory over the Panthers, who absorb a major blow to their chances. Carolina now leads the Southeast by seven points over the Craps and eight points over Florida. :)

Agree, although on his second goal the two Boston dmen looked like pylons.
