Sounds like it's raw feed. Sportsnet certainly has graphics, shows scores, etc

Last Saturday, Cherry said that Carey Price should be the hands-down Calder winner. I immediately thought of Backstrom.

Caps could have the Calder, Jack Adams and Hart trophy winner. Has that ever happened?

Probably not for a team that missed the playoffs, as the Caps will.

Caps are making the playoffs. Boston and Philly are falling apart and the Caps are going great guns at the right time.

With Boston having two in hand and the Flyers having one, the Caps are going to have to be awfully good the rest of the way to leap into the 8 spot.

Caps schedule: Car (2), TB (2), Fla (2). Let's be generous and say they pull 9 points out of those six games, three of which are on the road. That leaves them with 91 points.

That leaves Boston needing nine points out of: at Mon, Tor (2), vs. Ott, at Buf, at NJ, at Ott, vs. Buf

And Philly needing eight out of: vs. NYI, at NYR, at NJ, at NYI, at Pit, vs. NJ, vs. Pit

Have you seen the Bruins lately? They can't score in a brothel with Eliot Spitzer's governorship.

I may be putting too much stock in that egg the Caps laid the other day against the Blackhawks. I'm very interested to see what they do in Raleigh. Win that one and they'll be in very good shape.

If Boston only had one game in hand, I could see it. But two games is an awful lot of wiggle room this late in the season.

I think the loss to the Blackhawks was a case of Boudreau overthinking. Huet has played really well since the trade but Boudreau, I believe, figured that maybe it was the right time to play Kolzig. And it backfired on him.

But look how they responded. Coming from behind in the third to beat the Thrashers last night.

Kudos to the Caps for the big comeback. But, by that same token, keep in mind that Atlanta looks like a team that is lining up tee times immediately after the season finale.

Anyone else read the damning piece Burnside did on ESPN.com on how Altlanta's ownership is living in denial?

Just read it now. It's absolutely stunning how inept the Thrashers owners are. You would think that Atlanta's collapse would cause Waddell to be on some sort of hot seat, but no.
