Is my scoretracker right? The Sens just put up four in six minutes?

Kozlov with the only SO goal. Caps win. Staal rang one off the post as the Canes' final shooter.

The last couple of shootouts, Victor Kozlov has been deadly. His shot is tight. And it gives the Caps a win 3-2, with the only goal in that shootout.

BTW, Huet has got to be the Caps top priority in the offseason.

    What do you disagree with?
I said they royally fucked up the Emery situation.
I think your being a little dramatic with the Sens falling to where they were at the begining of the franchise. they will have Spezza and Heatly to build around for a few years which I would say is a hell of a lot better than Daigle and randy Cunneyworth.

If they have those guys to build around, JC, then why are they falling so fast now? Injuries?

What was Ottawa supposed to do? Let Emery do as he pleased?

Philly wins in OT. So Caps won, but gained no ground on Boston or Philadelphia. Only picked up a single point on the Rangers and Canes. They're quickly running out of time.

Leafs lose to Boston 6-2. Helluva time to play like shit. .

All we can hope for now is for Toronto to spoil Boston's Tea Party on Thursday night at the Garden.

HC & I will be there.

What are you not understanding? I said they fucked up with Emery by basically letting him do as he pleased. That is what Paddock said if he could do it over he wouldn't have coddled Emery. We agree on that.
I love how because they have struggled that they are going to go back to there expansion days. They did go to the final last year, right.
Was it not your Canes who missed the playoffs last year after winning the cup
They seem to be doing ok this year. Teams have off years but if you have solid foundation to build around they are more than likely going to be ok.

Your attempt to make this personal is failing, JC.

I am not saying their struggles this year will cause years of regression. But allowing the GM/coach to continue to foul up the team - after repeatedly fouling things up this year - won't allow the team to progress. See: Toronto Maple Leafs, New York Knicks and Los Angeles Clippers.

The GM was arrogant enough to fire the coach Lou Lamarillo-style and put himself behind the bench. Hey, that move worked wonders, didn't it?

Spent last night flipping between Flyers-Rangers and Caps-Whalercanes. I really like Washington to get in the playoffs. They're going great at the right time and their best player wants to experience the playoffs.

For all of the Rangers talent, they might have the worst power play I've ever seen. It's stationary, with the players standing on the perimeter. No one moves, so it's easy for opposing teams to form a diamond down low.

I am not trying to make this personal. We agree on the Emery fiasco. This team is probably going nowhere this yearbut they were doing that with or without Paddock behind the bench.
Murray was the coach last year when this team went to the finals so it would seem logical that if they were going to fire Paddock he would be the one to replace him.
The sky is falling stuff is hilarious. It's been one half year. To compare them to any of those teams is ridiculous.
Wasn't it you who was applauding this GM's move when he got Stillman and Commodore?
Did you give up that quick on the Canes when they struggled?
Ho many teams have the talent that the Senators have going forward?
They need to fix their goaltending situation in the summer and they'll be fine.
Mr. Mills, again , I did not try to make this personal and apologize if that is how you took it
