And the Atlantic race isn't over, either. Isles tie Pens and Devils have taken 2-1 lead over the Rangers.

Caps have taken the lead, Leafs and Bruins tied 1-1 at the end of two.

Very cool. Emile Francis is being interviewed between periods at MSG. The man looks good for 82.

But what does it mean when the B's can't score? They're trying to win games 1-0 or 2-1. They're holding on for dear life and the Caps are playing great hockey. I really like Washington to pass them for the eight seed.

Capitals should have and advantage playing solely Southeast opponents the rest of the way, but the Lightning just tied it 2-2.

Six games under way and all six are tied.

And the Bruins take the lead, about 14 to play. There's Boston's two goals for the game.......

...Except now they've got a third on a power play. This isn't good for the Caps at all.

And everybody else is still tied.

Tangent: The NHL has to be the most fan-friendly in terms of the 'Net — free streaming audio of games, a real-time feature that runs on every browser and OS ... admittedly, it's probably because they recognize that they've been in a hole for a long time now.

Toronto's pulled one back with 4:59 to go. And Boston restores a two-goal lead 23 seconds later.

Final from Boston. Bruins 4, Leafs 2. With the regulation loss, Toronto has been eliminated from the playoff race.

Rangers just beat Jersey, 3-2, in regulation.

Rangers, Devils and Ottawa are all tied with 91 points. Tie breaker goes to Ottawa, according to MSG.
