Suffice it to say, my previous comments about Atlanta stand.

Yes, the Whalercanes look good, but the Thrashers are helping them.

Welcome back, Chad LaRose. Chuck Kaiton had a word with Justin Williams, who won't fan rumor flames but isn't snuffing out the thought of returning in the next few weeks.

Well, if Erik Cole can come back from a broken neck ...

True, mustard. Getting back Justin Williams and Chad LaRose would help. Now to get Ray Whitney and Matt Cullen to get back in the lineup and stay there would help even more.

Final was 7-1 in a game that took forever because of all the penalties.

Habs tie Buffalo with 14 seconds remaining in the third.

Long Island's own Chris Higgins scored the game-winner in OT. Habs 4, Sabres 3.

Well, shit. Thanks for a great big bunch of nothing, Buffalo.

Thanks for coming, Sabes. Pick up your parting gifts at the door. Next time, maybe you might want to make a good faith effort to keep your stars.

I heart Joe Sakic (in a manly, non-sexual way of course). Scored with six ticks left in the third, then scored in the shootout to take the Lanche over the Oilers. :D

If I'm figuring it right, the Avs are tied up on points with the Flames (who play the Oilers on HNIC) and the Stars, who have two easy games before closing out with San Jose.

And Ryan Miller, who just set a new franchise single-season record for appearances by a goaltender (73), has one year left on his contract.

    Tick... tick... tick...

Hi, I'm Roberto Luongo. I've given up nine goals on my last 44 shots. Scratch the Canucks from the playoffs, and me from the Vezina list, I'm playing like crap.
