I'm definitely not saying that the refs lost Tuesday's game for the Canes, but there definitely were some brutal calls and cases where an obvious call wasn't made. Some homer talk-show hosts in N.C. were even speculating that there might be a conspiracy to make sure Ovechkin gets into the playoffs. I'm a Canes fanboy looser, but I wouldn't go that far.

Oh, so you have braindead talk show hosts down there too? :)

    Idiots.

What happened? A goalie interference call against the Caps?

A Lightning player got pushed into his own goalie by a Caps player and they called goalie interference. I've never seen it called like that.

Well, it looks like Kozlov tied the game up.

In Uniondale, Jaromir Jagr is putting the Rangers on his back. He has scored two first period goals in a two minute span. Rangers lead the Islanders 2-0.

So Ovechkin highest single-season scoring left winger in NHL history. And the highest scoring left winger in Washington since Clinton.

Highest scoring Cappie ever, since 1980 or something when Marsuk I think, had 60?

Ovie gets the goal too. Even if it's still credited to Kozlov, Ovie's stick hit it last.

They gave Ovie--Vote for Ovie!--the goal? According to MSG Network, Kozlov was credited with the goal.

Lecavalier just got called for a four minute high stick.

Plenty of time for Ovie to get 65.
