    Watching the DVRd Philly-Isles game from tonight, it's hard to believe how good Jiggs McDonald sounds. You'd never know he only does a handful of games each year.

    Between the new "sweaters" and Cooperalls, the League and Reebok will have achieved their goal of having the players look completely ridiculous.

    Jiggs does a great job. I hope he lands a job with a network.

    I'm sure nobody's watching this in Boston but the Joe Thornton trade comes into play in the last minute of Boston's 2-1 win. Thornton set up Milan Michalek with the equalizer and then 26 seconds later Marco Sturm set up Aaron Ward's game-winning goal. Amazing thing is I tuned in during a pitching change in the ALCS and saw all of it.

    Cooperalls = ringette pants

  6. Amazing, despite the fact that most other teams have figured it out, two years hence, the Bruins still don't understand that you can't fall into a shell with a one-goal lead anymore, since you can't tie guys up like before. And hey, look at that, when you put a little aggression on the puck, it goes in! Wow!

    Love the mid-game shit-kicking that Brent Sutter gave the Devils (just watching highlights).

    And great save by Brodeur in the last few seconds to save the win. I love that guy.

    Slap my ass and call me a cowgirl ... the Flames scored seven goals tonight? Holy shit ...

    And they're on a win streak ... dayum.

    So are the Blackhawks, 2-1 winners over the Stars tonight.

    Coyotes-Wild game. Lots of people dressed as empty seats.

    Fans cheer loudest for Wayne Gretzky during the intros -- how pathetic. Don't they know he's NOT playing?

    Wild bumble around a bit, but Eric Belanger gives the visiting team a 3-2 regulation win as referees don't swallow their whistles in the game's final minutes or even seconds.

    Somewhere, Rosie's happy on her birthday with news of a Wild win.
