Most people knew he'd be out, he had abdominal surgery

Maybe Grapes's favourite goalie Hardy Astrom will come out of retirement.

I can't even begin to count the number of stories I did on this guy. I can't stop crying. He comes from such a strong, close-knit family.

Is it too early to start the "St. Louis Blues Official Suicide Watch Running Thread"?

Downie gets 20 games. Gotta admit it's more than I thought he'd get even though he deserves more...

So does this mean he can't play in the AHL?

Don't think he can play in the A. I believe they honour NHL suspensions.

The defending Stanley Cup Champion Anaheim Ducks named their new captain today. The man entrusted to wear the 'C' is a renowned leader of men; a man whose very name conjures images of Messier, Gretzky, Richard and, dare I say it? I do. Patton.

The 2007-08 Anaheim Ducks' captain is...Chris Pronger.

    Let the derisive laughter commence.
