WTF? Was the Gemini Committee smoking pot or something. Unreal.

There ain't a team that wants to pick up that contract...

That's true. And it's not like Ferguson is going anywhere, after just signing that contract extension. Maybe it will be the Leafs who fire the coach first this season.

Okay, I just realized that Bob Cole won play by play announcer and HNIC won best live sporting event for game 3 of the Cup finals between the Canes and Oliers.

What I am happy about is Kelly Hrudey winning best studio analyst. Well deserved.

Further proof that the Geminis are totally irrelevant and whoever's on the selection committee has NEVER sat through a complete 60 minutes of Pierre.

Bob Cole is so past his prime it's not funny. He's not even one of the top three announcers any more. He's the Willie Mays of the broadcast booth. Friggin' embarrassing.

Unless another team has a similar one they'd like to dump and it becomes a change-of-scenery deal for both guys.

Plus, the way salaries are going, $5.5 for McCabe might seem easier to swallow next year.

Luongo had a losing record (8-10) in mid-November last season, and everyone was asking the same question as Ondeadline.

Then he went on a complete tear (39-12) for the rest of the season.
