    I try.

The League conspired with Eagleson to fill their coffers. Turnabout is fair play.

A lawyer from Bawston takes on a lawyer from basketball. Could be fun.

Yeah, I have heard about the rest of Canada. But here is my reasoning on this. Last time Halifax hosted the tournament, it sold out and made a huge profit. I believe about 3 million (I am getting a reporter here to dig it up for me). Anyway, the fact is the current event Halifax is hosting the World IIHF Championships is close to selling out.

Quebec City is far behind on Halifax (they are co-hosting the event in May) in ticket sales and they are hosting the medal round while Halifax is hosting part of the round robin round..

If Hockey Canada is looking for a money maker, to host, it is Halifax. Flash, it's not about homerism and I am thinking with my brain.

Anyway, Halifax will not and should not get an NHL, NBA or CFL franchise. They are better off hosting musical events instead of sporting events.

In a legal showdown, I'll take my chances with a former US Assistant District Attorney, thank you very much.

If Hockey Canada is looking for a money maker, why wouldn't they just announce that the NHL cities--Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, Ottawa, Toronto and Montreal--will be the permanent sites for World Juniors?

C'mon what makes you think that?

Not only have they held the World Juniors recently, they're co-hosting the IIHF World Championships next spring.

Toronto could make three times the money Halifax did without even getting out of bed.

If Halifax gets either one, I'll have a sex change operation.

Because Junior Hockey really is a grass roots Canadian sport.

Vancouver was a huge success--I mean huge. It may be the days of it having in places like Red Deer are numbered.

If it's about making money Toronto, Vancouver and Calgary would make a hell of a lot more than Halifax.

If you haven't seen it, you should check out this power play by the Canucks against the Oilers on Saturday night. You think the Oilers on the ice were getting a little tired?</a>

I would bet Alberta gets one of the upcoming tournaments personally.
