    Differing opinions I guess.
Question for you what is it about Ignila that riles you? You obviously watch the Flames closer than I do and as a Canuck fan he seems like a great leader especially sice I'm used to seeing the emotionless Markus Naslund every night.
I think Habscheid will make a great NHL coach, hopefully takeing over for Keenan

Sakic misses. And so does Tanguay. They have lost this game. Fucking tools.

I have been pretty high on the Kings bandwagon, just because I dig teams that build with youth and add some FAs.

But it befuddles me why they sent Jonathan Bernier back down to juniors. He's not a No. 1 now, but the rest of the goaltenders on their roster are career backups or AHLers.

You know, I love Iginla. He was one of my first NHL interviews. He is sweet, almost bashful at times, talkative, gracious, darn near everything a reporter needs him to be.
He lost my vote as captain during the playoffs with that gawdawful spear in the last minute of Game 5 in Detroit.
This is always his team to take and lead, just like he did in 2004, but I don't see him shouldering it the way he did then. The leadership has to be consistent ... and he was that entire season, but particularly in the playoffs.
It's like he has chosen to, instead of lead, play too aggressively and take stupid penalties -- three of them tonight. And I'm not sure the players are buying into his program.
By the penalties and what I see as an inability to lead this team, I believe he is rejecting Keenan as coach. A silent protest, if you will.
But that's not how a captain should act. He has to share the load with the coach, no matter who it is.

And thanks for the Habscheid vote. If I could grab Sutter by one of those oversized ears and give him a talking-to, I would.

Wild-Kings tied 2-2 with five minutes left in the 2nd period.

He and Statsny are the extremely early season MVPs.

Zetterberg is in there too. Leads the league in points with 13 (two more than Stastny), before tonight's game.

Anyone watching the Wild and Kings? I've got it on right now and the intermission reporter (Jim Watson) for FSN in L.A. knows nothing about hockey and keeps saying Ducks instead of Kings. Awful.
