Petr Sykora bangs in the rebound - 1-1.

 

Carolina took a 3-1 lead, but the Pens just tied it on a 5-on-3, Sykora's second of the night. Still 1:38 to carry over into the third period on the penalty.

 

That had to be the worst five minutes of the season for the Canes: Walker goes down with a mystery injury, Williams hits into their own net, Commodore takes a stupid holding penalty after breaking his stick and they blow a 3-1 lead. And the second period starts with another Pens PP.

Sabourin hasn't been that bad and he's not the rebound-producing machine that Fleury is.

 

What would Montreal want for him? Any good young prospects in the system?

 

Chucko and Severyn off the top of my head.

 

Sabourin's been better than normal. And it's been a typical Pens game: Stretches of incompetence and moments of brilliance.

 

Hawks up 3-0 on the Avs in the second. Toews and Kane each with goals.

 

Right now, shots are 30-13 in favor of Colorado. The Bulin Wall appears to be in effect.

 

Sykora, the active player with the most goals and no hat tricks, still looking for No. 3.

 

Looks like we're in for some bonus hockey in Pittsburgh. 3-3 going to OT.
