Hatcher was called for a hook and Ryan Whitney potted a PPG. Pens up 1-0.

EDIT: And Hossa doubles the lead.

Got to think that if the Pens go up 3-0, Philly will goon it up.

 

Yep, if it keeps going this way, it might have the makings of a big old mess soon for the Flyers.

 

Not watching the game but i heard the penalty was weak. Is that what you saw?

Well, I spoke too soon. Not if RJ Umberger has anything to do with it. (Newsflash: He's from Pittsburgh.)

Seconds after a Flyers PP ended, Umberger jammed a puck past Fleury. Pens up 2-1.

 

No stupid penalties and no bad turnovers.

You still holding to this? Because the Penguins looked pretty good again tonight. Fleury made me a little nervous with how he mishandled the puck at times, but otherwise, little room for fanboi loosers like me to complain.

Still one win left, but a Detroit/Pittsburgh final would be loaded with skill. It should be very nice hockey to watch.

The more I watch the Pens, the more I think they can play with the Wings.
This is not a defensively irresponsible team.
They'll match Detroit hit for hit, trap for trap.
