Dalllas did nothing more than make sure that the Red Wings won't celebrate on the American Airlines Arena's ice.

Tonight was Dallas' Game 7 of the Stanley Cup. I didn't think they had enough gas to get one in this series, but they did.

They're playing with house money as far as I'm concerned. Nobody expected them to get past the Ducks, let alone the Sharks.

With all the young defensemen coming up, Richards in the fold and Morrow finally earning his C, Dallas is going to be a force in the NHL for the next several years. That'll let Modano and Zubov fade out gracefully.

The Wings like to celebrate on home ice.

If that's the case, I can't see Malkin staying in Pittsburgh. That's more than $4 million more per year than Sidney Crosby signed for, and I can't see a scenario where Crosby isn't the organization's highest-paid player.

Can anyone else ... if this rumor has legs?

All right, I'm ready to see the Flyers get swept tonight. That would sure be nice.

You won't have to sweat out a game five.

Coburn, according to the Philly papers, is out for tonight's game. Can't blame the Flyers for erring on the side of caution, considering how ugly the gash is.

Homerish column by Gene Collier, but the lede made me smile.

  9. If the dealership was repsonsible for the maintenance of the limo, and there was a mechanical problem that contributed to the accident, that would be one way the dealership could be liable.

Unlike last night, the Pens should complete the sweep tonight.
