The stick touched Fleury's body ... apparently, that makes it goalie interference.

But he was not playing the puck at all with that stick.

Doesn't matter, I think, thanks to a young fella called Sean Avery.

Again ... nice work by Osgood. Big hit by Kronwall, too.

Rule 69.3: Contact Inside the Goal Crease - If an attacking player initiates
contact with a goalkeeper, incidental or otherwise, while the
goalkeeper is in his goal crease, and a goal is scored, the goal will be
    disallowed.

So what is in the crease?

    A skate? Both skates?

    Whoa.

    Mess is so skinny.

Is there anything wrong with him?

League needs to go back to the goaltender's box inside the crease. I think it's the only way to mostly eliminate human error with goaltender interference.

Read the rule again ... while the goalie is in the crease ... has nothing to do with where the offending player is, so long as there is contact, incidental or otherwise.

Please work with an American here who can't skate.

What makes a goalie in the crease? One of his/her skates? Both of his/her skates?

But what defines the goalie being "in the crease." In the play in question, Fleury had his left skate and half his ass in the crease. His right leg was all the way out. Was he "in the crease."

    Love the call, obviously.
