I'm at the other end of it ... they can't play it enough for me.

Re: Game 1, disappointing to see the Pens caught on that line change. And Fleury did seem slow to get to the other side. Bottom line, they're lucky it's still 1-0 with the opportunities the Wings got that period.

What evidence have you seen in this game that tells you the Pens can come back? Because I haven't seen anything that tells me the Pens can generate a good shift in the Detroit zone, to say nothing of scoring a goal.

Detroit piling up that shot count and once again have just about doubled its opponent -- while it's not that surprising (as that's usually the case), I did expect the shots with a highly potent offensive opponent to be a lot closer at this point.
Crosby with just two shots -- another example of why Lidstrom is far and away the D'man in the league.

Anything is possible when you play with something that takes bad bounces.

Plus, even though they seem to have been shut down so far, Pittsburgh has some serious offensive weapons.

Detroit has done a great job not allowing Sid and Malkin to get past the first defender and charge to the net.

Whatever shots are getting through that smothering defence, Osgood is all over.

Danny Cleary ... about to become the first Newfie to have his name engraved on the Cup. I'm all misty about it. And Alex Faulkner is watching ... too cool. I was friends with his nephews whilst I lived on The Rock.

Cleary pounds the final nail into Game one's coffin.
