I didn't want hockey season to end! Thanks, Pens.

I'm glad the game ended, I heard Gary Bettman was on the phone with Bud Selig talking about calling the game a draw.

Jesus, what a grind! Crosby=35 minutes on the ice. I'm reminded of the Kareem Abdul Jabbar scene from "Airplane" -- "Yeah, well you tell your old man I'd like to see him drag his ass up and down the court..."

They must be tired, cause I'm freaking gassed. On the Fly Final's on now and then UniversalHD has the replay. Gonna be a long morning.

    Series, suddenly, is on serve.

And I don't know the rules, but if Gonchar left with a concussion, his playing that last shift might have kept him from being ineligible for Game 6.

    He was excellent defensively.

It was pointed out a few times on the CBC broadcast.

Thierren press conf. on right now on the local NBC station.....he looks absolutely whipped.
It was pretty short and sweet...said this was probably the most important game in Fleury's career.

As evidenced by that Red Wings shots-on-goal total, obviously.

Ryan Malone was just live on NHL Network.

    On the injury:
"It coulda been a lot worse. I broke my jaw earlier in my career."

When asked if the nose was broken:
"Yeah, but it already was, so I don't know if it counts."

First hockey game I've watched in, like, forever. How the Penguins have won two games escapes me, because the Red Wings seem so much better. Just like a few years ago when Federov & Co. were tearing up the league, their passing seems leaps and bounds above everyone else. When they pass, even in traffic, it hits their teammate's stick perfectly. Meanwhile, the Pens play that dump and chase shit that's just ugly hockey.

I freely admit I know very little about hockey, but without that penalty, I can't see the Penguins winning that game -- even if it went 10 overtimes.
