Running 2008 PGA Tour thread

Is Sergio a Mary Tyler Moore Show fan? He threw that ball up in the air right after the win and caught it with a smile on his face.

 

It was a great story, but that tournament doesn't get elevated with Paul Goydos winning it. It keeps progressing with Phil, Sergio and Tiger winning it.

 

Why would it need to be elevated, isn't already cosidered the best tourney outside of the majors?

 

He can take a nothing day and suddenly make it feel worthwhile.

 

Sergio lost another playoff today, at the Barclay's to Singh. Isn't anyone to root for in that matchup.

 

I'll take Vijay any day over Sergio if I have to root for one player to win.

 

Sergio talks to the media a bit more, and after bad rounds. he might make every lame excuse in the book, but he'll still talk, unlike the Fijian, who has been known to blow by the gaggle after a 65.

 

Other than rain, no.
