Jared Sullinger. Stout. Very, very stout...

Surprising how well UConn's freshmen have played so far this season. Didn't think Walker was going to have much help, but they've stepped up, as has Oriakhi.

Two REALLY fine players. Period. I may be a huge Buckeye fanboi, but I'm really impressed w/ what Purdue has put together this year. REALLY unfortunate that Hummel's out.....they had the potential to be really special.

Sullinger plays a good game, but he did it today against a weak defender. If Ohio State didn't lock down on McCamey, that game would have gone the other way. That's by far the worst game that McCamey has played in three seasons as a starter, and it wasn't because of Sullinger. It was the little freshman guard who shut him down.

Missed most of this game because I was locked into Syracuse-Villanova, but I did catch the end and was really surprised at what a lousy play McCamey made on the final possession.

Wonder if Pitino hit Federal Hill tonight for some pasta primatura after Providence ended a 17-game Big East losing streak at his expense.
He won't win it, but after that second-half explosion, Marshon Brooks should get some serious BE POY run.

KU led Texas by 15 at one point in first half, by 12 at halftime and lost 74-63, so the Jayhawks' 69-game home winning streak is now history. Probably should've ended earlier this season, against UCLA, USC or Nebraska.

Hey, Kevin from the Office has no problem with the streak ending at 69.
As a KU fan, it was a shame to see them finally lose at home, but it was going to happen at some point this season. And this loss felt like a no doubter. From the moment the second half started the Jayhawks never seemed interested and credit Texas for shaking off a rough start to keep the pressure on the entire game. I still think KU wins the Big 12, but it's going to be a fun conference season.

Covered my first triple OT on deadline tonight with an 8 p.m. tipoff. Not for the faint of heart.
