To be fair, Seth said nothing of the sort. It was that fucking buffoon Vitale who kept yammering on in the post-game ... "you're in bayyyyybeee!!"

Tech is still fine provide it doesn't shit the bed against Georgia Tech Thursday. Two wins in the ACC tournament might be necessary, but the bubble is so soft this year that beating GT might be enough.

An afternoon in purgatory: Watching LSU and Auburn play out the string in Baton Rouge. The rain delay at the baseball game might have been more entertaining.

It might be, Cosmo. Hope it is. But getting housed by Boston College and beaten by Clemson takes a lot of shine off the Duke win.

The bubble is pillow-soft. But losing to Georgia Tech could allow another mid-major at-large or power conference team to walk in. If nothing else, it certainly won't help matters for the Hokies.

Hope the scenario doesn't play out, though.

Chapel Hill completed its return to the top in big style. Hit everything from the floor, executed well offensively and never really allowed Duke to get a big run at it once Chapel Hill got control of the game.

The Hokies figured they didn't need to show up this week because, as Dick Vitale said, beat a No. 1-ranked Duke is like beating five ranked teams!

Some bubble teams actually did their part today ...
--Michigan swept Michigan State and is the No. 5 seed in the Big Ten tournament
--Colorado beat Nebraska; it has also beaten K-State twice, Texas and Mizzou
--USC beat Washington; it has also beaten Arizona, UCLA, Tennessee and Texas

Yeah, I omitted Alabama. Weak bubble team. Basically, the SEC West is a joke, and Alabama had 10 games against those teams. Beat Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia ... and that's it. Lipscomb is Alabama's best non-conference win.

VT is most definitely out if it pulls another Hokie chokie in Greensboro Thursday.

KCTV in Kansas City blamed "sunspots" and something about a "transponder" for the reason for switching the game. I'm don't know much about TV jargon like that, but I do know that the CBS affiliate in Wichita had no problems staying with the game.

VCU knocks off Mason in the CAA tourney. The Rams wouldn't be doing fellow commonwealth team Virginia Tech any favors if they win the title.

VT didn't do itself any favors. I think the CAA gets two - Mason and the champion. Not three. And I think the league had two even if Mason won the title.

VT is what, sixth or seventh on the ACC pecking order now? CAA losing finalist at VT, first round of the NIT.
