So does that cost Pitt its No. 1 seed, or do Duke, BYU and Notre Dame need to win their conference tourneys for that to happen?

Final score: Miami 69, UVa 62. Jesus. Have a great spring break, Zeglinski. Dick.

I don't think BYU gets it. I could maybe see Notre Dame moving up if they won the Big East. I think Duke is already a 1.

I meant more that all three had to win to squeeze out Pitt, because I can't really think of anyone else moving up (Texas struggled, Purdue probably lost their shot when they lost to Iowa, and if UNC wins out, they'd be more likely to take Duke's spot)

It'll be a Big East team, either Pitt or Notre Dame, Duke or Carolina depending on the ACC tourney, Ohio State and then your guess is as good as mine. If BYU beats SD State AGAIN without Davies, they'd be hard to keep from being the fourth one seed.

    Not Kansas?

Isn't that like the 73636558th buzzer-beater Kemba Walker has hit this year?

    Nuts.

Yeah, Kansas and OSU would seem to be the two locks at this point. I think it will be Duke and Pitt even if UNC beats Duke in the ACC tourney.

Circus, sounds like I'm glad to have missed the early session of the ACC tournament today. Nobody wants to win that one.

Here's the blow-by-blow, provided by my buddy and edited by me, of the UVa collapse. Cavs up 11 with 1:50 left at beginning.

Miami layup - UVa up 9
Miami fouls Sammy Zeglinski, who misses front end of 1-1
Miami misses, UVa's Jontel Evans turns the ball over
Miami misses, scores on offensive rebound, UVa up 7
UVa's Assane Sene makes two free throws, UVa up 9
    Miami misses 3
UVa's Mustapha Farrakhan makes 1 of 2 free throws, UVa up 10, 0:42 left
Miami hits 3, UVa up 7
Sammy Zeglinski misses front end of 1-1
2 seconds elapse, Miami hits 3, UVa up 4, 0:30 left
UVa inbounds ball, Zeglinski steps in, pass back to him goes through his legs and out of bounds
Miami gets wide-open dunk off inbounds pass, UVa up 2, 0:19 left. Miami has controlled the ball for a total of 3 seconds on its last 2 possessions and scored 5 points.
Inbounds pass to Farrakhan, who is trapped and calls timeout
Evans throws ball away on next inbounds pass
Miami scores off turnover to tie game, fouled
Miami player misses free throw, UVa's Zeglinski and Will Sherrill fumble the ball out of bounds
UVa actually plays defense and turns Miami over, gets ball back with 1.3 seconds left
Miami steals inbounds pass and misses buzzer-beater

I'm apoplectic here. I know UVa's not good, but there's no excuse for scholarship athletes to choke like that.

That was the worst case of spitting the bit seen here in a long time. Wow.

Given Tony Bennett's reputation for managing games, this cannot reflect too well upon him.

I think their a lock, too, but Kansas sure didn't look like a No. 1 against Oklahoma State today.
