Huh, they just stopped the UC-ND game to eject a fan sitting behind one of the baskets. Looked like the UC coach asked the officials to toss him.

 

Has anyone ever seen Trent Johnson when he didn't look like he was going to gut someone with a Bowie knife?

 

Yup. The Bruins have been down 15-20 points the entire second half and look about as apathetic as all those empty seats in the Staples Center.

Of course, this opens up an opportunity for Wazzu if they can top UW later tonight.

 

Pitt thinks that Washington looked somnibulient in the first half.

 

So Tennessee blows a 14 point lead before covering by one point with a dunk in the final 10 seconds. Then Vandy blows a lead (not sure how big) and ends up losing (ATS) by one.

Gotta love the SEC.

 

Here is why as much as I love college basketball, the tournament is way overrated - there is actually a serious discussion and likely chance that the 11th place team from a conference is going to be in the NCAA Tournament with a chance to play for the national title.

 

You heard it here first. Mississippi State is going to fucking win the SEC Tournament. Karma demands it.

Oh, and before I shut it down and head for the house, I'll point out that my not-so-beloved alma mater did its usual choke-a-thon against Memphis today. If you're scoring at home, that is now 17 straight wins for the Tigahs against Southern Miss. Sheesh.
