How dumb is Mark Fox looking right now? He and his team fails to call timeout the possession before when the guard was in trouble in a trap, then he calls timeout just before his player hits the winning shot.

So is Georgia in or out? Anybody sold on Alabama now? I was catching hell for voting Alabama in the Top 25 a few weeks ago because I thought, at that time, they were playing very well. I quit voting for them after a couple of late-season losses. But I do think they defend well enough to possibly be a Sweet 16 team if somebody gets hot for them offensively.

I think Michigan is helping answer that for you, and possibly BC as well. Dawgs belong in.

There's not a lot of bids being stolen in these conference tournaments so far, but I'm keeping an eye on the Mountain West and A-10. The top three teams in both leagues are in, but New Mexico, Dayton and Rhode Island are all alive and capable of beating the top teams in those leagues.

Georgia's out, IMO, unless some crazy things continue to happen between now and Saturday night. That timeout shot down any momentum they had and gave Bama life. Bama may need one more win and they could get a plane ticket to the Dance.

I like Grant and I like what he is trying to do with this bunch. The late-season losses were bad, but I'm with you in that if they defend well, they can get to the Sweet 16.

Can't wait for the next talking head to come explain how BC still merits a bid.

Tulsa-UTEP looks like an acid trip sponsored by Crayola.

Is it better to just not show up, like Mizzou did last night, or piss down your leg, like Illinois and a whole lot of other teams have been doing?

I'll take the pissing down the leg. You've at least got to play well to blow it.

    Alabama quality wins:

    Home: Kentucky
    Road: Tennessee

    Alabama horrendous losses:
    Iowa
    Providence
    St. Peter's

Zero wins outside of the conference. Two wins inside the conference. They'll do nicely as a host in the NIT.

It's such a weak bubble this year that I honestly don't care who gets in and who doesn't of the final 8-10 teams. If Alabama gets in, I won't complain and if they don't, same thing.

I won't either. But for anyone to act like Alabama deserves a bid is crazy. Alabama lost to two of the worst major conference teams in America. The SEC West title only makes Alabama the tallest midget. The Tide might get in, but it'll be because of the general crappiness of the bubble, not because they earned it.
