Running 2010-11 BKC thread

This America East championship is making that Penn State-Wisky game last night look like a Loyola Marymount game from back in the day.

 

I have always liked KO. I am mesmerized by his ability to swear. He can put words together that should not work but when he is done it is pure poetry.

This is at least his 2nd wife. His first marriage ended with a very good story. He was at the Final Four in New Orleans with his wife. He went on a huge bender and woke up at daybreak after sleeping one off along side the Mighty Mississippi. I believe one of his asst coaches (Craig McMillan?) found him. KO stood up, wiped himself off and said that he had better get back to the room as his wife would be worried. Only problem was that his wife had blown up at him the night before and had flown back to Knoxville and started divorce proceedings. KO had no fucking idea. That made him stop drinking for a few years.

He later moved to Northwestern where he started drinking again. He had a tab at a local establishment that he kept open, a couple of his vet players would just wander in and put their beers on KO's tab. He would call one player(that I coached in HS), many times late at night when he was watching film. He would say "----- get a fucking case of beer and bring it to my office. We need to break down some fucking film!". They would sit up all night drinking and talking stupid. Alcohol is a hell of a drug.

 

UNC is making a comeback in the ACC semifinals, but still haven't had a lead with time on the clock the entire tournament.

 

Who is carrying the BYU/SD State game tonite?
