Suck what? I'm all for Evansville beating Butler. Stupid bandwagon fans in Indy can suck something.

Meanwhile, Notre Dame is pretty fucking solid at 8-0.

Ole Miss was down 30 at Miami (Fla) but stormed back to lose by only about 10.

Mississippi State lost 61-59 to Fla. Atlantic.

There will be no undefeated 2010-11 season from either of the Magnolia State's SEC teams.

My guess is they scheduled a game in KC because the conference tourney is there this year.

Big Ten takes 4 of 5 last night from the ACC with the only loss being a 3 point loss on the road by a very pedestrian Iowa team.

Of course, may not be a very strong year for the ACC with 10 of their 12 teams already sporting 2 losses or more.

Mizzou plays in KC pretty often, actually.

Smart for them to play in both St Louis and KC for building the fan base, but mostly for recruiting purposes. Especially KC to complete with Kansas and K State.

Why the hell wouldn't they play in KC? They play there the same reason the football teams play there.

Maybe somebody smarter than me can explain this... in the final minute of the first half of the Mizzou-Georgetown game, Georgetown hits a 3-pointer after the shot clock goes off. Looked late in real time to my homer-riffic eyes, and replay confirmed that the shot was late. But it stood.

Games are stopped all the fucking time to see whether or not a toe was on the line, etc. Surprisingly, the crack ESPNU staff of Dan "DUI" McGlaughlin and Doug "P90X" Gottlieb failed to address this with any real zeal.

Now, ultimately those points shouldn't have mattered. If Mizzou could've made a fucking free throw, they win. Period. But those points did matter.

So why the fuck wasn't it reviewed? Seems pretty simple to me. Check the tape, shot was late, 3-pointer taken off the board.

I believe "shots and clocks" are only reviewable at the end of halves and overtimes. If there is a questionable shot clock violation but there are still a few seconds (or minutes) remaining on the game clock. I'm not sure it's reviewable.

KC's fans are pretty much evenly split among those three schools. It's not like KC is foreign territory, like Mizzou playing a game in Wichita or Topeka. Heck, they never crossed state borders.

If that's the case, it seems silly. I'm not advocating reviewing every basket, but when the technology exists to get things right... why not get things right?

Roy's recruiting doesn't fit the college ball landscape anymore. He keeps going after character/finesse guys, but the game has changed. These guys are simply too soft.

Or, you know, they're going through a down period. How 'bout you give it some more time before declaring one of the most successful coaches in college basketball a fossil of the game?
