The Morrison crying game between those two was a Sweet 16, so it was later at night. I think this is usually the normal time for the Elite 8 Saturday games. One ends early evening, one later in the evening. The most famous Saturday night one being Duke-Kentucky in 1992.

Ummm yeah, you realize MSU has 4-star recruits who havent even sniffed the floor this post season? They are deep as hell.

  6. I get that, but they aren't interchangeable parts. Players have roles, a rotation, chemistry that has been developed for months. Fact is, MSU chokes in the tournament less than any other big-time program. I don't think anyone is saying they are a scrappy group of overachievers, but Izzo's teams rarely underachieve, and that's admirable.

God knows what you'd be ranting if the Buckeyes had gotten through, as well! :)

On the court, Butler seems to hit a big shot every time KSU looks like it might make a run. That stepback three by Mack a few minutes ago was a thing of beauty.

Butler is turning the ball over when it has a chance to build on its lead. It just can't get past that 8-10-point mark. I

Pullen and Clemente starting to heat up for KSU. It's ruh, roh, time for Butler. Getting a score on this next possession is big for their confidence.

Syracuse put a similar run on them around the same time. We'll see if they respond the same way in this one.
