Running 2010 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament thread

For some reason I thought they had upgraded their operation significantly.

 

Hey zag, do you think Kentucky and West Virginia are playing any better right now than Butler did?

West Virginia is shooting under 30% from the field and getting out-rebounded by 14 and is ahead 28-26 at halftime.

 

I remember the term being used in the 1980s to describe teams like Cleveland State from one-bid conferences. Of course there were about 80 fewer D-I members back then and nowhere near the money inequity the BCS brought on.

 

I missed the first half. WVU has NO 2-point field goals? Really??

Cheering for these two teams is like rooting for jock itch or an under-the-skin zit that hasn't come to head: The most entitled fan base in college basketball or a team from the Big lEast. On the other hand, it's nice to see the true DeMarcus Cousins come out -- whiny, complaining, not his fault... If he does like he did last year in the Class 5A semis, look for a technical foul after his fourth personal.
