It's not how many points Zoubek scores.

He's been an absolute monster on the offensive glass for the last two months.

You've got to think he's going to do it again unless he gets in foul trouble. And if two of Duke's big three are hitting from the perimeter, I doubt this will even be close.

I'm hoping it will be. But I don't like Butler's chances at all.

Syracuse and Kansas State were probably as good as Duke, I just don't get why people are underestimating Butler so much. I think Duke is very, very good. But Butler is too. They made it to the championship game, beat three of the top four seeds in their region. Dunno what else they need to do to prove they belong there.

Zoubek on the offensive glass in the tournament: 2, 6, 4, 4 and 5.

If Zoubek is Butler's biggest problem Monday, Butler wins.

I may be waaaaaaay wrong, but I don't understand that line of thinking. Even a little.

If Zoubek gets five offensive boards and they hit a three on every kickout, then yea, it's a problem. Butler needs to stop that bullshit if it wants to win, Duke was like 15-0 on second-chance points at one point.

I really don't think Duke has been defended the way it's going to be defended Monday night. And if they hit 13 of 25 3s they way they did tonight? Tip your cap to 'em. But I don't think they've got another night like that in them.

By the way, Duke from 3 point range the last six games:

    tonight: 13-for-25
    Baylor: 11-for-23
    Purdue: 6-for-15
    California: 3-for-17
    Ark-PB: 6-for-13
    Ga. Tech: 5-for-17

They shoot the way they did the last two games and they'll win. My guess: Butler won't let 'em.

Can't agree with that first statement. Bob Huggins' calling card has always been defense ... the sort where writers pull out the "they guard you from the time you step off the bus and would keep doing so in the locker room at halftime if they had to" sort of thing.

Butler is a great team and plays dogged defense, but it's not like West Virginia forgot how to defend.

Syracuse and K-State didn't present the inside size mismatch that Duke will give Butler.

So are the student in Lansing and Morgantown going to wait until they get back from Spring Break to commence with the couch burnings?
