Running 2010 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament thread

I'm not sure I can picture Bobby Knight dancing to Phil Knight's tune. It'd be a hell of a splash for the new arena, though.

 

Why would Bobby Knight want to be Phil Knight's lackey?

I would think that, if Knight wants to coach at all at this point, it would be somewhere where he would be the clear guy in charge. Very little, if anything, happens in University of Oregon athletics without Phil Knight signing off on it.

 

Always funny to watch teams that wouldn't have been picked to make the tournament if the didn't win their conference tournament punk the overrated former No. 1 frauds.

 

I always thought Knight was an Adidas guy. And there is no way there will ever be more than one Knight at UO.

Though Pitino to St. John's (or somewhere else) wouldn't surprise me. The guy has always left one step ahead of the posse, and I can't see him enjoying being the "other" coach in Kentucky for too long.

I'm having a hard time envisioning Lavin at Iowa. Don't see it for some reason.

That play by Dellavedova for St. Mary's to keep his dribble and hit the three was phenomenal. They're having trouble against 'Nova's pressure right now, though, so they need to win this in regulation.

 

Better yet, how about Dave Arseneault?
