Baylor or Duke were the picks from that regional. In other words, there wasn't much to pick from.

It's official. 75-68. Omar Samhan and clutch outside shooting wins again. Congrats to St. Mary's!!!

No worries. No one meant any harm

I want a St. Mary's hat (big) and t-shirt (bigger). I am fully on the bandwagon.

Looks like I underestimated St. Mary's. Put Providence uniforms on them and they're a 3 seed.

Today Seth Davis again says the Big East is the best conference in college basketball, despite the tournament outcomes. Never let the facts influence your conclusion.

I'd like to see if either of these teams can score today.

They play fun basketball. I can't imagine anyone rooting against them at this point.

We had a lot more chatter than usual about bubble teams; which should be in and which should be out.

Three days into this thing I can only find a short list of teams who looked like they didn't deserve to be here:

    - Arkansas Pine Bluff
    -Eastern Tennessee State
    -Oakland University
    -Georgetown
    -UTEP
    -Vermont
    -North Texas

Richmond and Villanova? Possibly all of their next opponents?

Well, UTEP was up by 6 at half. I don't know what happened to them in the second half, though.

Two decades after Loyola Marymount's run, and a decade after Gonzaga's initial burst, those scrappy religious private schools in the West Coast Conference have once again asserted themselves and established a new bandwagon.

    Way to go, Gaels.

Villanova's joining Marquette, Pitt and eventual champ Kansas in the Final Four, bud.
