And Pitt will lose either tomorrow or against Kansas State.

Lot of KU fans in attendance today.

  3. I pull for my brackets, especially in a year like this when no upset is really that momentous as down as college hoops is. I remember I used to get so worked up about upsets in the tournament. Now I kind of realize that they happen every year. I think I've just seen too many games in too many sports through the years to be really impressed, even if a No. 1 goes down early. No. 16 over a 1 is about the only thing that would be really, really fun at this point.

My mom's side of the family are UNI grads. Mom doesn't watch sports very much, but she can't help but to pump her fist when UNI forces a turnover or get a basket.

Collins is frustrated and trying to press the issue. I'm trying to temper my emotions. This game isn't over until it hits 0:00. Keep it up Panthers, keep it up!

Why is the CBS live TV broadcast a good 2 minutes behind the live Internet webcast?

Is it because CBS Sports = Fail?

  6. How many recent underdog runs do we really, really remember? Gonzaga before they became Gonzaga. Valparaiso. George Mason. Maybe Kent State. To me, the Cinderellas don't become really interesting until the Elite Eight, and since Mason, probably not truly memorable until we see one get to the title game.

Baylor gacking against ODU. Outscored 19-11 in the first 7+ minutes of the second half.

Please win, UNI. The Whitlock column afterward would be entertaining as hell.

I started watching this game with 11:30 left. This is the fifth timeout since. Agh.

This is awesome, mostly because these Northern Iowa guys look like they should be changing my oil.
