Ragu, simply cannot believe this. I don't remember a shooter as good as Whitman during my Ivy watching days.

And to the person who asked upthread, no Ivy sport makes any sort of real revenue. That being said, grants and targeted scholarships were widely available to athletes w

The last minute of Michigan State-Maryland was extraordinary.

I swear, from now on I don't care who's in their bracket or what their record is. I'm just putting Michigan State in the Final Four in my bracket every year. They just seem to get it done in the tournament every single time.

This awesome. Cornell in the Sweet 16.

We'll all have drinks at Theodore Zinck's, when I get back next fall.

I don't know about a choke. Kid hits an amazing shot at the top of the key. And the Terps were down by 16 or so and made a huge rally.

Not like that. Can't really call it a choke when the pretty much scored on every possession in the last two minutes, including a potential game-winner with 6 seconds left.

I don't remember if Monson recruited Wittman when he was at the Gophers. Knowing Monson's record, probably not.

Crowing about this while I still can:

If Purdue, Xavier and Duke win, I'll have 13 of my Sweet 16 correct.

Cornell, St. Mary's, Tennessee my only misses so far. Yes, I picked UNI to be there.

Of course, pride comes before a fall ... :)
