Agreed – the in-and-out bank shot was pretty ridiculous.
But if you're Syracuse, you can't sprint down the floor and jack up two off balance 3-pointers with hands in your faces.
    Awful, awful, awful.

Good for Butler and the alleged non-major schools. Come on Xavier and Cornell.

So is the Ebanks that is supposed to be a lottery pick hurt and this is his brother on the floor?

So where does this rank among Jim Boeheim's NCAA Tourney disappointments?

Syracuse peaked during the rout of Villanova at the Carrier Dome in late February. They weren't the same after that.

    It does not.

These are not great teams. He lost Flynn and Harris to the pros last year and went to the Sweet Sixteen this year. They had a good season.

Well, they did lose Onuaku, which was a huge factor. Disappointment? Yeah. But from where they were at the start of the season and the expectations, a good season.

One more win and that manager's gonna have an awful lot of job offers (if not already).

I think he would look great in red and white.

My uncle emailed today asking if Jacobson would have gotten his new deal if they hadn't beaten Kansas. I said it didn't matter, because if they win one more game he'll probably have an offer from a bigger school and the 10-year deal will already be old news. Not like contracts really mean anything.

True, although Syracuse was a #1 seed and lost to a mid-major, albeit a very good one.

Let's stop with the midmajor labels. These teams are good. They get a shot at the "big boys" and they can pull off so-called upsets. It's not like Syracuse was a 16-point favorite.
