If this UK team shows up the rest of the way, they roll through rest of the tournament. Kansas was the only team that could play with Kentucky when it plays anything above its B game.

I got myself to MMOD on my laptop and KSU/X on my TV.

Kentucky vs. Corn-L might be taking a hike.

With all due respect to Cornell, most of the rest of the Sweet 16 will do more to crash the offensive boards and will have more speed to counter Kentucky. The Big Red is conceding offensive rebounds in an attempt to keep the Wildcats from speeding by them.

Good concept even if the execution is lacking.

Just watched a clip of Sportscenter and apparently Lavin's hair looks like it wasn't doused with pompade tonight. I hope my glasses weren't fooling me.

I know they will, but their next game would be against West Virginia. WVU has a ton of athleticism, but without a real point guard, they'll have a very difficult time on the offensive end, even if they're able to do well to slow down the Cats on the other side.

Their next game, no matter who it would be against would be easier than WVU. Unless Baylor makes it and Dunn just goes crazy and scores like 35 points, I don't see any of those teams beating them. On the other side, OSU is probably the best of the bunch (though, they could very well be out tomorrow) and they don't have the size underneath to measure up against Kentucky.

Dick Enberg said earlier that Calipari is the only coach to win 30 games 4 years in a row. Didn't the NCAA force Cal to vacate the wins at Tiger High?

At some point in this tournament, Kentucky will have to make free throws. And this group of 'Cats isn't much better at that than Cal's last Final Four team was. We all know how important that turned out to be.

Agree on both of those. Terrible.

    Cornell might not score 35.

Cornell has scored 14 points in the last 27 minutes.

If they play down to an opponent and let them hang around, I agree. If they push the whole game, none of them will be close enough for that to be a difference. I could see the WVU game being close since the 'Neers play everyone close, but they aren't much better at foul shooting.

Also, it's a fallacy that a team has to play a close game at some point during the tourney. Last year's North Carolina team didn't have any tight end of game situations (the lone somewhat exception being the second round game, but even that became an easy win the last five minutes).
