Running 2010 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament thread

Tiger High had to vacate them. Don't know if the NCAA has gotten around to asking Cal to hand those wins in his record book back.

 

Crawford just took an NBA three to make things even tighter in this KSU-Xavier game. Kansas State has tried to pull away multiple times, but Xavier just won't let them. I've been very impressed by their resiliency.

 

WVU shoots about 70% FT for the season and 13-of-17 (76.5) tonight - not sure where you're coming from on that point.

Outside of Butler, I wouldn't trust any of the other guys on the team in a late game situation. Jones is a sub-70% FT shooter and while Ebanks is better in general, the way his midrange jumper can tend to abandon him at times, I wouldn't feel comfortable with him at the line.

And Smith and Mazzula are under 60%. Those are the five guys for them most likely to have the ball in a tight game down the stretch. Now, if they're ahead and can put in Mitchell and Pepper, that's a different situation.
