That one 7-footer, Sene, is the one who hurt his ankle last night. No word yet on how long he'll be out. And while he wasn't a huge shot-blocker, he was a fantastic positional defender whose hedges really helped a lot on the perimeter. If he's out for a significant length of time or (God forbid) the season, that's a big loss.

More on UVa-GT: The Cavs could have gone scoreless the final 18:53 and still won.

They scored 39 points in the first 1:07?

The first half plus the first 1:07 of the second half

Paul Westhead just sprouted wood, and doesn't know why.

Sene had surgery for a broken foot and is out for six weeks. That's a mighty blow for the Cavs, although if you told me I had to pick a starter to go down, he'd be either my first or second choice. Hopefully he can come back for tournament season.

App State close to upsetting WCU. Good lord, the SoCon North is a mess.

I've seen multiple similar theories, and don't doubt them. My guess, right now? They somehow don't win the conference tournament, but of course get in, anyway.

Great one today in the SEC as Kentucky squeaked past Bama.
Looking forward to tonight's ESPN2 game with MSU at Vandy.
Even if State's record is something like 8-50 at Memorial Gym.

The effects of the loss to Ole Miss will be interesting to evaluate.

A homestanding 7-10 team might actually beat a 9-10 team? The devil you say!

Holy shit, what a finish at Cameron Indoor. FSU with a fantastic last week in the ACC.

Of course, most of that record was established when MSU wasn't nearly this good.
It also doesn't take into account the frequently-magical effects of +7.
