Down go the Devils! Does anybody want to be the top team in the ACC? Right now, it might be the Noles.

I went and talked to my boss' boss, who's a Carolina grad, last week and said that FSU is always one of those teams that pulls a big game out against top competition.

    Fuck 'em. :D

Two teams I've seen with great potential are FSU and Cincinnati.
VCU seems to be experiencing, as many other past participants did, a post-Final Four daze.
I'd love it if both Duke and UConn missed the Final Four but I'm not betting against either.

I'd be shocked if UConn made this year's Final Four.

I'd be more than a little surprised if Duke did.

Someone told me today that Syracuse will be without two key players for its next road trip.

There are a number of reasons why it's hard to go undefeated in college sports these days.

They're obviously in dire straits, today.

How can you people watch college basketball when Joe Paterno is dying? [/crossthread]

And the "over-rat-ed" chants are raining down upon Syracuse in South Bend.

Vandy trying to avoid an epic choke job at Memorial. Down 2 in overtime to Blitz State.

These chants always drive nuts. Why the eff should a crowd want to downplay its victory? Why are you so excited if the team you just beat is overrated?

Pups survive despite missing the front end of two 1+1s in the final 10 seconds. Vandy had a couple of real good looks on both possessions after the FT misses and couldn't get them to go.

Meanwhile, down the road, Southern Miss improves to 17-3 and 4-1 in CUSA by beating Marshall 67-63. The Fighting Eustachys are actually being projected as an 11/12-seed in the NCAA Tournament.
