    That's all good info, Brian.
Sounds like you really have a tab on the LSU hoops scene.
The little guard who hit the game-winner seemed like a handful for the coach to deal with, but after-game, he sounded somewhat grounded and focused in the on-court postgame interview.
He's a swift, playmaker for sure and LSU has a few others who can compete.

I am souring nowadays on my UConn Final Four pick, but I'm certain it's Missouri's year to make it that far and maybe win it all. They are really talented and have decent amount of depth.

Tonight is AFA's first game with the new coach, isn't it?

    Almost broke 30.

The 28 was their lowest total in the shot clock era, worst overall since 1956.

Hickey has a hard time finding a happy medium. He'll go from shooting too much to not shooting at all. He's trying to find the right feel for it. When he figures it out, he's going to be an all-SEC type. Second team, of course, behind whatever stud Cal brings in that year.

Cuonzo Martin's got Tennessee playing some pretty good hoops, but probably about 2 weeks too late to make the tourney.

Meanwhile, the wood Mizzou laid on the Pokes must have been in honor of former Cowboy Doug Gottlieb's constant criticism of the Tigers (at one point early in the second half, MU had more than doubled OSU's 28 points). Or maybe Mizzou's just a really good team that still hasn't peaked yet.

Everyone in Chicago seems pretty convinced that Bruce Weber is in his last days. Total press conference meltdown last night - no screaming, but definitely brought the slow burn crazeeeeee.

How good of a job is that?

There is just something about that photo that absolutely slays me. I can't turn away and I can't stop laughing.

OSU is a team that loaded up on those Louisiana recruits I've been telling you about (Brown and Williams). Bringing in Brady's old recruiter (Butch Pierre) to establish that pipeline has led to people like Gottlieb questioning Ford's ability to evaluate talent.

Having said that, Brown's a pretty nice, if somewhat erratic, prospect. He may be an All-Big 12 guy before it's all said and done. He may be all-Big 12 for OSU's next coach at this rate.

One thing you may not have noticed in this photo: There's a guy dunking a basketball in the foreground.

What I like about it is, the cardboard head is positioned perfectly in front of the guy sitting behind the headholder, making it appear as though he's reaching up and pinching the cheeks of a guy with a really huge head who happens to have the same exact ridiculous face.
