Dunk of the day, courtesy of Kentucky's Darius Miller.

Also, Ohio State is on the ropes, down 8 with 11 to play in Ann Arbor.

The Fighting Irish rallies back from 20 down to take out Villanova in overtime.

I'm super late to this, but it was his second. Air Force beat SDSU today. I think the interim tag will be removed soon.

Also nice to see my alma mater win the Border War tonight.

Looks like my Runnin' Rebels are going out with a whimper.

Losses to Wyoming, TCU and New Mexico, not good.

Probably not the best time to go cold, but they'll still make the tourney. All of those were on the road and there's no real easy out in the MWC this year (look at Air Force and SDSU today). Wyoming was a bubble team until this week, TCU some how hasn't lost at home in conference play and New Mexico appears to be the class of the league at this point.

Agreed. But did anyone else catch TV Ted Valentine posing for the ESPN cameras and trying to become part of the show (and ultimately succeeding) as they were discussing the Hess/Gugliotta/Corchiani incident tonight? It struck me as a perfect descriptive moment for so much that has been wrong with college officiating in recent years, right as ESPN is focusing the spotlight on one of the biggest attention whores--Hess--an even bigger one--Valentine--was dearly trying to steal that spotlight. I hope somebody youtubed that moment just to confirm that I didn't imagine it.

A few years ago I was sitting on press row of an ACC game, I think it was N.C. State vs. Georgia Tech, and I came to the conclusion Hess was making calls he knew would get coaches screaming at him and the crowd booing. There was no way he was watching the same game as the rest of the building and honestly thought he was making the right calls and he'd get this little grin when people started going nuts on him.

You've got it right. Another attention-seeking, rabbit-eared bitch.

Not enough basketballs on the floor at one time, too many guys looking out for themselves and the NBA draft, and a used-up, in-sick-bay Calhoun.

Was Paparo the guy they nicknamed "Froggy?"
And it was entertaining to watch Paparo and Lenny Wertz assigned to the same games. Duke students would see Lenny come out on the floor before a game at Cameron and chant: "Oh no, not Lenny ... oh no, not Lenny."
