Or, Baylor finally gets pissed off enough, and lays the wood to Bevo.

Given my disdain for all things Babyshit Orange, I hope this is the case.

If I go to marriage counseling and find Karl Hess, I'm saving time and just signing over the house to the wife.

Does his profession make him less or more preferable as a college basketball official?

Valley State (14-0 SWAC) hosted TX Southern tonight on the U, with a chance to wrap up the cunfrence regular-season title. Delta Devils hit a shot at the buzzer to empty the stands. Good stuff.
Too bad, too, that the cunfrence TOURNEY title is the one that gets you dancin'
Still, good TV tonight with Dereck Whittenburg doing color commentary, and even referencing a "himself-to-Lo Charles" alley-oop after Valley did likewise.

As others have noted, at least Rick Barnes may not absolutely shit the bed in the NCAAs this time around . . . but not for the reason he'd like.

MVSU used to be coached by one Lafayette Stribling, who was EASILY the most sartorially-splendid dresser in the SWAC. He's still hanging around at Tougaloo College in Jackson. I covered a game a couple of years ago where they came in and played a NAIA team from here, and he was wearing a white suit with a blood-red dress shirt. Awesome.

It depresses me that Bedlam tomorrow is only going to be shown on the Big 12 Network. Shows how far Oklahoma and Oklahoma State have fallen as programs. Used to always be a sellout and shown on Big Monday ... smh.

And Missouri remembers it's Missouri, bombing against K-State. Again.

Tiggers 0-3 this season vs. the Wildcats in football and basketball.

    Fucking inexcusable. Entirely fucking predictable.

And Northwestern remembers that it's Northwestern, blowing a winnable game against a ranked team at home in the second half and then getting boatraced in OT - with their first-ever NCAA bid likely hanging in the balance.

I know it's Northwestern, but it's still the Big Ten. Making the NCAA Tournament out of the Big Ten isn't THAT hard. Bill Carmody has had 13 seasons to do it and hasn't gotten it done. When will enough be enough there?

Win or lose, Big Circus is going to have some stuff to complain about when he comes in here after the UVa-Tech game.
