I don't think I'm being hyperbolic when I say it has potential to be the loudest college basketball game ever.

Good point. Even teams in the bottom half of the league -- NW, Minnesota, (gasp!) Iowa -- have played well at times, especially at home.

Illinois might be the worst team in the Big 10 at this point.

Northwestern DID beat Michigan State . . . don't tell anybody. They still don't belong in the Show unless they wind up .500 in the circuit (and the conference tournament should count, towards that), but it is what it is.

Murray State able to avenge its only loss of season, to Tennessee State, and it looks like a 30-win season will eventually come to pass.
It's not just the color commentator who thinks this is a team that should be able to win two games in the tourney and make the Sweet 16.

Pat Knight would be better off going the route of Jeff Capel and return to assistant coaching.

Anyone else catch the BYU-Gonzaga game last night and hear the semi-sober tones of SportsJournalists.com fave "Burnt Hamburger" calling the action?

Although it was just on in the background as we were working, at one point I heard Brent rambling on about how Mark Few has stayed at Gonzaga because he loves fishing in the wilds of western Montana.

At least he didn't bust out, "This one's for all the Tostitos" as Robert Sacre missed yet another layup.

This one is straight from "One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest" --- What the hell is he talking about? Yeah, we get it - the seniors aren't acting like leaders but ripping on them for missing shots? Really?
