I haven't turned on the game yet, but I saw on the N&O Twitter that the ACC Tournament refs have "KH" written on their shoes in honor of Karl Hess. ::)

Don't know about the shoes. But for someone who grew up on the ACC Tournament, it's pretty sad to tune in and see 15,000 empty seats.

I am given to understand Hess will be infecting the Big East tourney.

Iowa up 60-56 with 1:02 to go against Illinois. The Illini have yet to shoot a free throw in this game.

Trying to follow it online from afar. Iowa is one of those teams it would really help to be in the CIT or whatever other sub-NCAA postseason tourney, just to get their young guys more games.

My eyes are burning from the neon green unis Baylor is sporting. Can someone explain to me why they look like a pack of highlighters?

UConn leads 'Cuse by 8 in the second. Plenty of time left, however.

Gus had the scream ready to go, but Illinois missed the game-tying 3. And, yeah, looks like UConn-Cuse is the new game to watch.

As someone who's been to about a dozen ACC tournaments, it ain't what it used to be. The extra four games on Thursday are just overkill, and I say that as someone who loves basketball. A fan of a good team might have to sit through seven games before seeing his team play, and that's exhausting.

Also, I question the sanity of a Maryland or Wake fan who takes 2+ days off work to drive to Atlanta for the 8-9 game.

I'm coming to the realization that if you're going to be unemployed this isn't a bad time of the year for it to happen.
