Boise State was just down by eight a few minutes ago. Game is now tied at 62 with 0:20.9 remaining. SDSU ball for last shot.

WOW! MWC Player of the Year Jamaal Franklin with the shot at the buzzer to win it for SDSU, 65-62, over Boise State.

So we get play-by-play of Boise-SDSU, but nothing about Cinci and Georgetown going to double OT?

It was 1983. Vince Taylor had just left. Five guys - Johnny Dawkins, Mark Alarie, David Henderson, Jay Bilas and Weldon Williams - were completing their freshman seasons. They didn't lose to Virginia again.

Say what you wish about Mike Krzyzewski, but those guys took it to heart. Tommy Amaker came in the next season, and I don't think he lost to the Cavaliers, either.

Wasn't it Dean Smith who once responded to Mike Krzyzewski's colorful language: "I drink and I smoke. If I swore, my mother would kill me." ... or something to that effect.

Krzyzewski doesn't smoke and probably drinks only a glass of wine on occasion, if that. But the swearing part? Yeah ... Duke-Maryland games had to be fun for game-day audio engineers. Between Gary Williams and Krzyzewski, that's a lot of new words for children to learn.

Make that 19. Just knocked off top-seeded Washington in the Pac-12 quarterfinals.

Tulsa and Marshall in a great game over on CBS College Sports. Now in 2OT.

Does Washington still get in or is the Pac-12 a one-bid league?

I would think its a two-bid league, although Washington certainly didn't do itself any favors. They'd be wise to be rooting very strongly for Colorado to knock off Oregon tonight.

I think it would be unprecedented for the regular-season champion of an AQ football conference to be left out of the NCAA tournament. UW did not do itself any favors today, the Pac-12 is down somewhat this season and I'm probably guilty of some regional bias (like everyone else) but I think the Huskies are better than teams 7-10 in the Big East.

Third overtime between Tulsa and Marshall.

Colorado State has seen its 21-point lead evaporate into a 13-point one.
