Indiana's Verdell Jones suffered a serious knee injury today. Apparently, Tom Crean was bawling during his postgame radio interview

Maybe it's just me, but it sure seems like there's a TON more really bad teams lately. I look at the list of "bubble teams" and think pretty much none of them have any business in the tournament.

Still early, but Louisville are taking care of Marquette right now.

Colorado State beats TCU, 81-60. Will play SDSU in the semifinals tomorrow. Really looking forward to Air Force and New Mexico later.

I hope he does, since there's no prayer of seeing it on TV here. Why the snark?

The best refs manage to stay more or less anonymous, so what does it say about Karl Hess that he somehow managed to make himself the talk of both the ACC and Big East tournaments on the same day?

Because it's mostly been score updates. He could at least make an attempt to provide something interesting about these games. That a game went from a 21-point lead down to a 13-point lead and then back up to a 21-point finish is not interesting. That happens in most games in which a team builds a big lead and then relaxes a little.

And what have you contributed? It sounded more like you were upset someone wasn't commenting on a "major" conference game, opposed to what was actually being said. Forgive me for watching CUSA and MWC ball.

The MWC this year is quite good, definitely much better than the Pac-12. I have no problem with talking about. Just talk about in an interesting way if you're going to post as much as you have been.

You referring to the late Jeff Jones/early Pete Gillen era when the Hoos gave some local bartender relevant minutes in ACC play? And Duke was throwing out Brand/Maggette/Battier/Carrawell/Langdon/James/Avery?

Eh. I think a margin of triple digits would've been running up the score. Those UVA teams were scary bad.

    You talking about

How the hell does KState lose to someone that looked like they took equal parts of horse piss, antifreeze, and lime sherbet.....threw it in a blender......and hit the mix button.
