Big Circus, the officials are not out to get Virginia.

Hey, my alma mater had to suffer Karl Hess. It's not a vendetta against NCSU, but rather an official who still thinks people pay money for seats in the arena to watch him showboat.

I believe UVa is in without question. IF, for any reason, it's not, it will be because of the human element of the committee, and that this committee weighs the ability to finish the season strongly. Little question that the body of work is strong enough ... at least IMO.

Oh, they weren't out to get them. Leslie's shove and the 4-point play aside, they called it fair (and I'm sure there were some bad calls on the Pack that I missed in my half-watching state). I didn't mean to make it sound like the stripes decided it, although I could see where you could get that from my posts.

Great game from your boys today. And you're right about Hess for damn sure.

UVa is in and losing this game might be best for the Hoos in the long run. There's no way this team was built to win three games in three days, but now they get some extra rest. The NCAA format with two games in three days then a week off suits the depleted roster.

They've likely had too many injuries to make it past the first weekend, but the tourney format is better for them.

Whatever crew has the Syracuse v. Cinci game is fucking horrible.

Missed the last 2 goaltends, and neither one was even close.

I thought Bilas was going to tackle someone.

    Oh fuck:

    Hess is one of them.

    This should be lovely viewing.

    Fuck fuckity fuck fuck fuck.

Now I find out that a national chain motel that I am staying in doesn't have ESPNU.

You've got 9.213 fucking channels, but no ESPNU.

Hey BEST WESTERN. I don't really give 3 squirts of shit about the WSU channel being broadcast in Dutch.

EDIT: The hotelier must be a SJ member as well, as some channel that was supposed to be carrying quilting or other such rubbish has the game on.

This may be the beer talking, but I laugh hysterically whenever the dude flexes his tits on the Old Spice commercial.

Just doesn't have the same effect when I do it.

If Mike Brey has mediocre recruits, that's on him.

Notre Dame is a major conference school in a major conference with perhaps the most famous name in college sports. While football is obviously king there, Notre Dame should be able to do better in basketball than one Sweet 16 appearance in the last 25 years. Even friggin Vanderbilt has done better in men's basketball than that.

I say Mike Brey is badly overrated as a head coach.

Perry Jones IIIIIIIIII draft stock has risen considerably in the Big 12 tourney.

The idea that Vandy is reduced to being the "friggin" Brand X comparison says a lot about how much Kevin Stallings has underachieved as well.

If they lose to Georgia tonight, his seat might get a little toasty as well.
