UNLV up 34-31 on New Mexico at half. And that arena is packed and throbbing with energy. And plenty of Lobo fans in the mix.

Speaking of finale, Colorado sends Cal packing. The only thing funnier than the Pac-12 being a one-bid wonder would be if none of the "real" teams got it.

California is a lock. Arizona looks pretty good now, but a loss would hurt. Washington remains on the bubble, even. If Colorado beats Arizona tomorrow, there's a chance the Pac-12 gets four bids, though two or three would be most likely.

I have a hard time thinking Arizona gets in with a loss, but this title game does make it likely the Pac 12 gets three bids.

Arizona is in a position that's not too unusual entering the semifinals and finals of conference tournaments: If it didn't have to play another game, it'd be in. The loss could be what keeps Arizona out, though.

I've already paid for my entries in the office pool. I want to take Mizzou to win it all in one of them. You guys have a few days to convince me I'm crazy.

Pac-12 brass would sell their souls this minute for four bids, even if Buffs win.
Hope Colo gets there. Washington only other team likely to give a serious foe tangible trouble . . . Zona guards 'WAY too young, and the Bears need a group-therapy session.

Bama exceeded expectations. This year, Florida actually prefers to run, and Tide didn't make it easy for them. I've ripped Grant for months for the dogshit chemistry on that team, but they saved their best for last.

If Scott Drew has a grown a brain, Baylor could make a Final Four run.

Even SEC football refs think ACC basketball zebras are inept. Holy shit. What an awful ending.

Very poorly officiated in the NC/NC State game. Did you catch Digger and Fran in the studio afterward? Yikes, the hatred by Digger for Fran was palpable.
