Well, throw in the fact it's Missouri, too.

Great day for the Big 12, huh? Colorado wins Pac 12 and Mizzou wins the Big 12.

IMO the number one seeds are decided around January 20, and a team has to fuck up big time to lose it.

Can we get a reaction from Nevin Shapiro on Missouri's win?

Kansas won the Big 12... by two games. Missouri won the Big 12 tournament. There is a difference.

True. One goes down in the record books as Big 12 Champion.

New Mexico has the classic look of a team I fall in love with, pick for a darkhorse Elite 8 run, then curse violently when they get upset Thursday.

My apologies to all the many people confused by my saying Mizzou won the Big 12. Today. On Championship Saturday/Sunday.

Do any of the major conferences besides the ACC recognize the tourney champ as the official champ?

In the Big 12 the regular season champion gets the same crystal trophy the football champ gets. The tourney winner gets the same trophy the teams that finished first in each division used to get.

Oh, and mb, my comment wasn't directed so much at you, but more toward the Mizzou folks who are going to act like winning the weekend cocktail party is a big deal.

Tapley is absolutely going off for SDSU here, but I think they're going to run out of time.

Also, I feel that way about half the teams that will be in the tournament.

Don't have a dog in this fight, but I'd party my ass off if my school (am I allowed to even say that) won its "weekend cocktail party".
