Since bid-thievery calculation is over (either X or St. Bonny's are a given to steal one, Sunday, and everyone else playing Sunday is already in), expect Wolfpack to slip in, in part thanks to the mass suicides which took place along the fringes all weekend.

Tomorrow's most interesting final should be courtesy of the Atlantic 10 Conference. Xavier could be a real threat in the NCAA tournament but won't make it as an at-large. And St. Boneventure has already killed the hopes of two bubble teams, Massachusetts and St. Joseph's.

Also, Joe Lunardi has Mississippi State in the field. I don't see how that could happen. The Bulldogs have shit the bed on an epic level, taking perhaps second-most talented team in the Southeastern Conference and going 2-6 in their past eight games.

He also has North Carolina State in, and I don't see much chance of that not happening. The Atlantic Coast Conference was better this year than it has been in a while, and N.C. State should benefit from a weak bubble.

I certainly feel for Bruiser Flint. Had an NCAA-worthy Drexel team in 07 that was egregiously snubbbed for an at-large, now has a 27-6 team that won 19 consecutive games and probably isn't going to make it after losing the CAA final by three points to VCU on a "neutral court" in Richmond.

The worst part is Drexel is good enough to win a couple games in the dance if the matchups break properly -- but barring a miracle at this point, I don't see how they get in.

SOS is like 60 points BELOW the lowest SOS ever for an at-large, or so they said on the CAA broadcast. Not sure VCU would have been in either had it lost that game.

I agree Drexel is good enough but the numbers aren't going to add up right. At least it has the "auto" to the NIT.

    Is Virginia in?

The majority of talking heads think so, but wouldn't deem it a dead cinch.

Buffs get in, and Mark Johnson with the radio call of the year on KOA about never seeing a Buffalo dance.

That call on Marshall has to be called something. If I am a coach, and my player goes to the ground, I sure as shitzel want to know how he got there. If it's a charge, great; then Marshall lowered it, OR my guy got to the spot......If it's a block, tell me my guy was late to the spot, and I'm fine that. But for no whistle in that spot is ludicrous.

Marshall said it in the post game. "They're not going to call a ticky-tack foul like that." BINGO. He said the magic word. FOUL.

If it's a foul 20 seconds into the game, it's a foul with 20 seconds left in the game.

I swear, I thought Digger and Fran were going to come to blows on the set debating that.

Virginia is in. 7-4 on the road, 7 top 100 wins. No bad losses. Cavs are a lock.

Did Clemson win its way out of "bad loss" territory? I know VT and TCU just miss that designation (which is, what, sub-150 RPI?)

Aprapos of nothing, but every time I see the hashtag for the ACC tournament on the syndicated broadcast (#ACCTRNY), I keep thinking they're trying to slip a swear in there.

Meat, trannies and Atlanta are a hallowed tradition. Just ask Eugene Robinson.
