I'd so much rather see a Drexel in that field than a fifth-place team from the ACC.

Well, Virginia beat Drexel. So there's that.

You can argue both ways on NC State. Other four in are legit.

Sorry, Shot ... understand that while I know my bias, I'm not convinced the Dragons could slay N.C. State.

(And as I type this, I'm laughing that Chapel Hill fans in Atlanta are griping about every block-charge call. This is rich ... )

TV Teddy Valentine on the Big Ten championship game. I know the Hess guy gets a lot of hate on here, but Valentine is such a frigging prima donna ... (or, as one of my friends wrote, a pre-madonna)

    Today, we are all Seminoles.

I've always liked Leonard Hamilton, and respect him as much as just about anyone in college basketball.

Yeah ... gotta agree with Big Circus. The arena looks like Smurf Village.

TV reigns as the armpit of the profession.

Florida State has beaten Chapel Hill and Duke. Twice. Hamilton and the Seminoles continue to prove they belong among the major programs in the ACC and the country.

    Good for them.

Probably won't happen, but we're a selection of Kansas as the final No. 1 from having all four No. 1 seeds enter the tournament coming off a loss.

And St. Bonaventure knocks another team off the bubble by beating Xavier for the A-10 title. Great for Bonas, great to see the thugs of Xavier lose.

Lorenzo Romar just swore again. TWashington will probably be the first regular-season champion from an AQ football conference to be snubbed in the history of the expanded tournament.
