No, it's not just you. Espinosa is streaky and he may struggle to keep his average over .240, but he can play. He just fell back off a 30-HR pace this past week, will likely steal 20 bases and he's a very solid defender.

My friend, I loved watching Espinosa last year. In fact, I loved watching him and Michael Martinez together in the same infield.

I blame Eric Wedge 100 percent for this. There is no way the dugout can lose track of the count. Pitcher and catcher are numbskulls too.

Not the dugouts job, not even remotely their fault

Calling Espinosa a solid defender is like calling the Atlantic Ocean a solid body of water. Espinosa is the best defensive second baseman in the game right now. He should be ROY.

Rangers never had a lead to blow. The only time they led was on the walk-off bomb.

Last weekend when I was at Nats Park to see Pirates-Nationals, the Bucs were using Matt Diaz, he of zero home runs in 2011, as the cleanup hitter. Makes Nix look like Henry Aaron.

And the Pirates are somehow 47-43. Amazing what pitching can do.

Having watched Matt Diaz during his entire run with the Braves, I can say that he actually has pretty good pop. But he should never be allowed to bat against a right-handed pitcher.

He hasn't driven the ball all season. His hits are for the most part flares to the opposite field and a few line drives to center and right-center. Somehow he has managed to hit around .270 without a home run.

If idiot fans keep this up, it won't be long before there's barbed wire running across the top of every railing ...
